Start by selecting a destination
Choose 1 of the 9 routes to get route specific alerts and conditions.
You can also access the settings page from here as well. We will talk more about that at the end of the walkthrough.
Note: Unfortunely at this time our alerts start/stop in Denver West at the interchange of I-70 and C470. We are working on updates to add more, but wanted to get this out for the beginning of the 2015/2016 season.
Route Overview
You now see an overview of your selected route
- Count of currently active alerts
- Summary of the overall alerts by importance
- Summary of current road conditions
- ETA to get to your destination
- Eastbound/Westbound specific data from the EB or WB button in the top right
You can drag the screen down to update the data
From here you can scroll down to get more information
Route Detail
Route details are now visible. Giving you the following information:
- Alert Description
- Alert Location
- How long ago the alert was posted
From here you can click on any of the alerts for detailed information.
Alert Detail
Alert details give you all of the information available for that alert
Including:
- Map of the area around the alert
- More information of location
- Detail of delays, times, and anything else available
Settings
As we talked about in the first step you can access the settings page from the route selection screen by tapping the gear in the top right.
Settings page tell you CDOT's(Colorado Department of Transportation) and our Drive Colorado server status', as well as access to our customer support
